Statement From Senator Amedore on Budget Negotiations

My focus throughout this budget process has been to make sure we are properly funding our schools, investing in infrastructure and clean water, protecting care and services for the most vulnerable members of our communities, and reducing the tax burden that continues to strangle our families and seniors.

It’s sad that the politics of Albany caused a distraction that kept us from coming to an agreement on a fiscally sound budget that protects taxpayers and helps make New York more affordable.
