On September 9, 2017, Senator John A. DeFrancisco sponsored his fifth annual Electronics Recycling Event for the Towns of Clay, Lysander, Van Buren, and Geddes. The event was held at Great Norhtern Mall from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm.
The public was able to safely dispose of their unwanted electronics by dropping them off at this free event, which was done in partnership with Spectrum and Sunnking, Inc. Nearly 50 students and parents from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville volunteered at the event, unloading and stacking electronics to be recycled. A portion of the proceeds will be donated from Sunnking to Baker High School.
Senator DeFrancisco is pictured with members of the Baldwinsville Varsity Girls Basketball and Cheerleading teams, and Baldwinsville Schools Superintendent Matt McDonald.
