SENATOR DEFRANCISCO SCHEDULES HIS 13TH ANNUAL SENIOR FAIR

State Senator John A. DeFrancisco will host his 13th annual Senior Fair on Tuesday, September 19th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Horticulture Building at the New York State Fairgrounds. 

For more than a decade, Senator DeFrancisco has held this free event to help provide Central New York senior citizens, and their caregivers, with better access to local programs and services that concern various issues, such as housing, transportation, healthcare, recreation and much more. This year, representatives from more than 100 state and local agencies and service providers will be on hand to directly answer questions, and free medical screenings will once again be offered to interested seniors. These screenings include blood pressure, posture, and hearing tests. Flu vaccinations will also be available.
