- Rosh Hashanah
In the spirit of togetherness and unity, let me say L’shanah Tovah to all New York residents of the Jewish faith as they join tonight to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. At sundown, these New Yorkers will pause with family and friends to celebrate the Jewish New Year and to reflect on the past year while looking ahead with an expectancy for a good and successful future.
I am hopeful that all those who celebrate are able to enjoy the occasion with the ones who are most important in their lives.
I wish each of you peace, health, happiness and prosperity in the New Year. May you and your family be inscribed in the book of life. L’shanah Tovah! U'metukah.
