Seventy-six years ago today, thousands of unsuspecting American sailors were attacked at the U.S. Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, forever changing American history. This morning, I was humbled to join Pearl Harbor Survivor Stanley Hwalek, area veterans and members of our community for the annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance ceremony. This moving tribute remembers all those who innocently died that day and thanks the survivors for their selfless actions for our Nation.
