A Special Message from NYS Senator Kathy Marchione:
In an emergency, having a secure, verifiable form of personal identification is vital. That is why I am encouraging residents to attend my upcoming Golden Gathering on Saturday, October 14, from 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., at Columbia-Greene Community College, to receive a FREE Senior Citizen ID, courtesy of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
The Golden Gathering is a free health and wellness fair for senior citizens and their families. This year’s Golden Gathering will feature over 75 exhibitors and free health and wellness services such as a Flu Shot Clinic (please bring your health insurance card); free flu shots for uninsured sponsored by Mid-Hudson Cable; free blood pressure and hearing screenings; free tote bags and refreshments; free door prizes for attendees; an Elvis tribute artist and much more!
The Golden Gathering takes place at Columbia-Greene Community College (located at 4400 Route 23 in Hudson) which is once again co-sponsoring the Golden Gathering. I look forward to seeing you at the Golden Gathering on Saturday, October 14!
