Statement from Senator Kathy Marchione on the loss of NYS Trooper Joel Davis

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of New York State Police Trooper Joel Davis, a dedicated public servant killed in the line of duty Sunday night. Trooper Davis is survived by his wife and three children, all of whom need our prayers and support. This tragedy is the second consecutive week that we have lost a member of law enforcement in NYS. This violence against our police must stop. We need to stand with the men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives to keep us safe."
