At the Seneca Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership BBQ Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Senator Pamela A. Helming (R,C,I-Canandaigua), on behalf of herself, Assemblyman Brian Kolb, and Assemblyman Phillip Palmesano, presented a New York State Joint Proclamation to Jim Sinicropi, owner of Fingerlakes1.com, for being named 2017 Small Business of the Year. The other 2017 nominees include Phoebe’s K9 Resort, Seneca Falls Historical Society, CVDesigns Boutique, and Bottomless Brewing. The event took place at the Muranda Cheese Company in Waterloo.

“It was an honor to be able to present Jim and Fingerlakes1.com with a joint proclamation to honor and recognize their achievements as a one-stop digital marketing shop. For more than a decade, Fingerlakes1.com has helped businesses and communities deliver valuable information and content to customers, other businesses, and organizations throughout the region. I’d like to congratulate Jim and his whole team on this well-deserved award,” Senator Helming said. “It goes without saying that all of the nominees were deserving of this year’s award and should be acknowledged for their successful business ventures and contributions to our local economy. I’d also like to thank Tom and Nancy Murray for hosting the event at their new, beautifully renovated barn that will serve as an event venue to our community.”

Senator Helming represents the 54th Senate District, which consists of Seneca and Wayne Counties, parts of Cayuga and Ontario Counties, and the towns of Lansing and Webster. For more information, please visit Senator Helming’s website, or follow @SenatorHelming on Facebook or Twitter.
