ALBANY – Senator Pam Helming attended the New York Farm Bureau annual state meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. The event culminated with the Farm Bureau’s annual banquet. During the banquet, several Farm Bureau members were honored for their leadership, service, and their successful efforts to ensure the voices of our New York State farmers are heard in Albany and Washington. Senator Helming is looking forward to continuing to be a strong advocate for Farm Bureau and working closely with the organization throughout the upcoming legislative session to help support our job-creating agricultural industry and local farmers.
“Our farm families throughout the Wayne-Finger Lakes region and across New York State not only put food on our tables but also help drive economic development and job creation for our region and our state. I am so proud to support all of our farmers and their families. In the coming year, I will continue to advocate for legislation and funding that will allow our local farms to keep growing and thriving. New York Farm Bureau has been a terrific partner, and I look forward to working with David Fisher, John Sorbello, and everyone involved in Farm Bureau on the local and state level,” Senator Helming said.
Senator Helming represents the 54th Senate District, which consists of Seneca and Wayne Counties, parts of Cayuga and Ontario Counties, and the towns of Lansing and Webster. For more information, please visit Senator Helming’s website, or follow @SenatorHelming on Facebook or Twitter.
