Senator Pam Helming is pleased to announce that she will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening of her Satellite Office located in the Wayne County Court House from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at 26 Church St., Room 207, Lyons. The public is invited to attend the event to meet Senator Helming and her staff.

At the beginning of the event, Senator Helming and Wayne County officials will cut a ribbon to officially open the Satellite Office and then mingle with guests, who will include Wayne County elected officials and community leaders. Guests can enjoy refreshments, tour the Satellite Office, and see the official New York State Senate seal and historic photographs of Wayne County that decorate the office.

“The Satellite Office has been a tremendous asset in our outreach and service to constituents throughout the 54th District. People who live in the northern parts of the district can visit us in Lyons rather than driving to Geneva. I cannot thank Wayne County enough for allowing us the opportunity to have this terrific space, first at the Public Safety Building and now at the Court House. We look forward to seeing everyone at our grand opening event,” Senator Helming said.

When it first opened in July, the Satellite Office was temporarily located in the Wayne County Public Safety Building. At the end of August, it moved to its permanent location in the Wayne County Court House. The Satellite Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. People may contact the office by telephone at (315) 946-6380.

Senator Helming’s District Office is located at 425 Exchange St. in Geneva and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. People may contact that office at (315) 568-9816.

Senator Helming represents the 54th Senate District, which consists of Seneca and Wayne Counties, parts of Cayuga and Ontario Counties, and the towns of Lansing and Webster. For more information, please visit Senator Helming’s website, or follow @SenatorHelming on Facebook or Twitter.
