GENEVA – Senator Pam Helming partnered with Marine Corps League Memorial Day Detachment No. 468 in Clyde to support the Toys for Tots program during the holiday season. Senator Helming’s District Office in Geneva served as a collection point for toys during the holiday season. These gifts will benefit needy children throughout the Wayne-Finger Lakes region.
“As a member of a military family and a strong supporter of our veterans and service members, I am proud to partner with Marine Corps League Memorial Day Detachment No. 468 to support the wonderful Toys for Tots program. Many of us are fortunate to be able to share a happy, healthy holiday season with our families and children, but sadly, there are plenty of families in our region who cannot provide their children with a nice Christmas that every child should have. Toys for Tots helps create that magical moment on Christmas morning by giving families presents for their children. I thank the Memorial Day Detachment for their partnership in this special holiday tradition,” Senator Helming said.
Senator Helming represents the 54th Senate District, which consists of Seneca and Wayne Counties, parts of Cayuga and Ontario Counties, and the towns of Lansing and Webster. For more information, please visit Senator Helming’s website, or follow @SenatorHelming on Facebook or Twitter.
