Ritchie Announces Transportation Routes For Oswego County Senior Health and Wellness Fair
October 23, 2017
State Senator Patty Ritchie is hosting her Oswego County Senior Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, October 26th, at the Oswego County Highway Department, located at 31 Schaad Drive in Oswego.
The free event—which runs from 11am until 2pm—will feature various exhibitors offering health screenings, wellness tips, flu shots (available with your Medicare or insurance ID), live entertainment and more. In addition, attendees will also receive a free lunch prepared by ‘future chefs’ from CiTi BOCES.
“My first two Senior Health and Wellness Fairs of the year have been great opportunities for people to connect with local health experts, visit with friends and enjoy a healthy lunch, as well as excellent entertainment,” said Senator Ritchie. “The upcoming Oswego County Senior Health and Wellness Fair will feature all of that, and more. I hope to see everyone there.”
In addition to exhibitors, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand to help seniors safely dispose of expired or unwanted prescription drugs.
