State Senator Patty Ritchie is applauding $23 million in new investments that will help support drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the region she represents.
The funding is the result of actions in the budget Senator Ritchie advocated for that boosted support for grants aimed at bringing clean water to communities across New York State.
“Reliable drinking water and wastewater infrastructure is essential to both the strength and the health of our communities,” said Senator Ritchie.
“Not only does it ensure that people have access to clean water, it also helps to attract and grow businesses. I am pleased to see these investments, which will help make our communities better places to live, as well as spur economic growth.”
