State Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I-North Tonawanda) today issued the following statement regarding the Senate passage of a comprehensive bill to bring ride-sharing to Upstate communities.
“Today, Senate Republicans took a major step forward in bringing ride-sharing services here to Western New York. The overwhelming support for this comprehensive bill shows Upstate New York and its riders are no longer willing to take a back seat when it comes to safe, reliable, and affordable transportation that’ll boost our economy. It’s time for the Assembly Democrats and the governor to get on-board, so that we can bring this critical service and economic jump-start to our communities.”
