Senate District 19 Senior Resource Day

(Brooklyn, NY) Senator Roxanne J. Persaud wants to ensure that seniors have access to vital information as well as have fun on September 7, 2017.

Senator Roxanne J. Persaud will bring seniors from across SD-19 together to access resources; discuss their concerns; socialize with their peers and celebrate this important phase in their lives.

Over 25 agencies will be present to provide information and demonstrations to our constituents. Agencies and organizations include NYS Department of Public Service, Downstate Hospital, NYC Fire Department, Brookdale Hospital, NYC DEP, Brooklyn District Attorney – Elder Abuse and SNAP.

Seniors face many challenges and daily changes but they are resilient.  We should not only celebrate them but must provide resources to ensure that their quality of life is improved. I will continue to fight for their well-being and ensure they are empowered. ~ Senator Roxanne J. Persaud.
