Senator Roxanne J. Persaud Hosts Annual SD 19 Family Fun Day

 (Brooklyn, NY)  Senator Persaud is thrilled to announce her 2nd Annual Family Fun Day to be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The fun day is scheduled to take place at Canarsie Park located on Seaview Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11236 (E. 88th St. entrance)

Last year’s event was a resounding success. Hundreds of children attended and participated gleefully in a wide range of fun activities. This year’s Family Day will be even bigger and better. There will be an obstacle course, rock climbing, face painting, stilt walking and much more. Food galore will be available.

There will also be resources and activities available to the adults including CPR training and dental screenings.

This event is in keeping with Senator Persaud’s advocacy for supporting families and building community spirit within SD-19
