Senator Murphy comments on the Marine Reserve Plane Crash

Yorktown Heights, NY - Earlier today it was learned that the KC-130T aircraft, which crashed in Mississippi on Monday, originated from Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh. The crashed killed sixteen soldiers including nine members of the special forces.
State Senator Terrence Murphy made the following comments:
"Our hearts go out to the spouses and families of those who perished in Monday's tragic crash. With the flight originating from our area, we are reminded yet again that the price of freedom is never free. Caroline and I pray for the victims and for all members of our armed forces who are protecting our way of life."
