Senator Todd Kaminsky, Senator John Brooks and Assemblyman Brian Curran wore Lots of Socks to raise awareness about World Down Syndrome Day ("WDSD"), which is held on March 21 every year. WDSD is a day to to help raise awareness of what Down syndrome is, what it means to have Down syndrome, and how people with Down syndrome play a vital role in our lives and communities. Lots of Socks are brightly colored so that people will ask about them and wearers can then discuss WDSD.
