Avella, Residents Celebrate Paving of Depot Road

Queens, NY – After seven years of asking and after multiple broken promises by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Senator Avella stood with Teddi Kavanaugh (left) and her neighbor to celebrate the paving of Depot Road. DOT finally took action following a Senator Avella press conference at the location last year. Kavanaugh, who recently turned 93, has called this a bucket list item for her.
