June 29, 2017
Senator Bill Larkin (R-C-I, 39th District) made a statement today regarding the United States Coast Guard’s decision to suspend future rulemaking decisions on a contentious proposal to put 10 commercial shipping anchorages on the Hudson River stretching from Yonkers north to Kingston.
“After more than 10,000 comments from residents, many of whom reside in my district, it has become clear to the U.S. Coast Guard that the Hudson River anchorage proposal needs further thought and consideration,” said Senator Bill Larkin. “I look forward to working with all partied involved and will continue to inform my constituents of the potential affects this could have on our community.”
