Senator Elaine Phillips Appointed To Chair Senate Banks Committee

Senator Elaine Phillips announced she has been appointed to serve as the New York State Senate Banks Committee Chairman by Majority Leader John Flanagan.

“Having worked for over 20 years in the financial services sector as a financial analyst for Met Life and JP Morgan Securities and later as a Vice President in Institutional Sales at Goldman Sachs, I look forward to bringing my private sector experience to this new role,” said Senator Phillips.

Senator Phillips also serves as Chairman of the Senate Infrastructure and Capital Investment and Ethics and Internal Governance Committees.
