Senator Amedore Accepting Local Nominations For State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame
March 29, 2018
Senator George Amedore invites residents throughout the 46th Senate District to submit nominations for the New York State Senate’s Veterans’ Hall of Fame, an annual ceremony that honors and recognizes outstanding veterans from throughout the state.
Each year, the Senate pays tribute to veterans who have distinguished themselves in their service, as well as their civilian life. One veteran from the 46th Senate District will be honored at an induction ceremony at the State Capitol on Tuesday, May 15th at 11 am, along with inductees from throughout the state.
Click here to access the nomination form. To be eligible, nominations must be submitted online or received by the Senator’s office (Room 802, Legislative Office Building, Albany, NY 12247) by Friday, April 20th.
This yearly ceremony honors exemplary veterans from across the state that have made our state and nation the place it is today. While we can never truly repay our veterans for all they’ve done, this is one small way to highlight their service and show our appreciation and gratitude to the men and women who make the sacrifice to serve our great nation.
