(BRONX, NY) Senator Jamaal T. Bailey hosted a panel discussion focused on the power of the African American vote. The event was held at Tracey Towers in the Norwood section of the Bronx this past Saturday, February 24th. It featured a panel that included elected officials, community leaders, and representatives from the board of elections.
"The African American community, specifically African American women, demonstrated once again, how vital and necessary they are as an example of a voting bloc in the U.S. Senate election in Alabama. It is important that our community knows how essential and impactful voting can be," said Senator Jamaal Bailey.
This was the final event that Senator Bailey's office had in celebration of Black History Month.
