Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Glenville) read the book "Before We Eat" to second grade students in Mrs. Amy Clapper’s class at Northville Central School District as part of an agriculture in our classroom program.
"Northville is a wonderful school district in the 49th Senate District and Mrs. Clapper's class were a great group of kids, who were very attentive and had excellent questions. As a former teacher, I always relish getting back into the classroom," said Tedisco.
In addition to reading to the class, Senator Tedisco met with Northville CSD Superintendent Dr. Leslie Ford and School Board President John Sira about school safety and how the state can help in terms of funding. The state Senate recently passed a package of 15 school safety bills to increase state support for school safety and security, including two bills sponsored by Tedisco.
