Tedisco Statement on Parole of Convicted Baby Killer Mary Beth Tinning of Schenectady
July 16, 2018
“In the span of just a few months, the New York State Parole Board has issued get out of jail free cards to convicted NYPD cop killer Hermann Bell and now convicted baby killer Mary Beth Tinning from my district in Schenectady. People who kill cops and kids should never see the light of day let alone be paroled. Where is the justice and compassion for the victims? This is a total disgrace and an affront to the victims and the safety of the public. This decision should be rescinded immediately. The Governor should call for the resignation of every member of the Parole Board who voted to free these depraved murderers and the Assembly should pass legislation I sponsored and passed in the Senate for life in prison for persistent violent offenders S4036, and life in prison without parole for murder in the first degree S7370.”
