Senator Serrano Attends Meet & Greet With New NYC DOE Chancellor Richard Carranza

Senator Serrano participated in a meet and greet luncheon last month hosted by new NYC Department of Education Chancellor Richard Carranza. It was an important opportunity for the Senator and his colleagues to hear from our new Chancellor and his ideas for improving our public schools.

We as elected officials must ensure that we are providing adequate funding and promoting sound policies that ensure that all students, regardless of economic background, can receive a quality education.
