Last week, Senator Serrano attended the ribbon cutting for the Broadway Mall Association’s (BMA) new outdoor exhibit. The exhibit, “in dreams awake,” by artist Kathy Ruttenberg, is the BMA’s 11th public art exhibition and features six sculptures on the Broadway malls between 64th and 157th streets.
“The arts and culture are part of the very fabric of life for all New Yorkers, and public art installations educate and encourage discussion that enhances our experience in this great city. My sincere thanks to the artist and the Broadway Mall Association for ensuring public art is there for all to enjoy," said Senator Serrano.
The exhibit will be up through the winter season of 2018.
