Senator Serrano is a co-sponsor of the New York State Reproductive Health Act (Senate Bill: 2796). Serrano is a strong believer in ensuring a woman’s right to make personal health care decisions and believes that healthcare professionals should be guaranteed protections in order to perform these services. Throughout his career he has always been a fighter for ensuring equal rights and is an avid supporter and cosponsor of the Comprehensive Contraception Coverage Act (Senate Bill: 3668) which provides greater insurance coverage for contraceptive drugs, devices and other products, as well as the "Boss Bill,” which would ban employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of their personal reproductive health decisions. I promise to continue to advocate and fight for women's rights in New York State.
