Hundreds of residents flocked to the Forest Park Bandshell on Sunday, April 29, for State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. and Assemblyman Mike Miller’s annual Spring Recycling Event.
Volunteer organizations were on hand to help people recycle their old or unused electronics; donate clothing, toys, and household appliances; and shred their sensitive documents. Boy Scouts from Troop 139 and members of Addabbo’s and Miller’s staff helped assist the crowd.
