Senator Parker hosts 7th Annual Educational Leadership Award Ceremony

BROOKLYN, NY (6/1/18) – On Friday, June  1st State Senator Kevin Parker and Healthfirst hosted the 7th Annual Educational Leadership Award Breakfast Ceremony at Medgar Evers College, Brooklyn. For the last seven years, over 200 community members have come together to honor various educational leaders as they each received a Legislative Resolution commemorating their work. George Hulse, Vice President, of Community Engagement at Healthfirst, served as the Master of Ceremonies, while Councilmember Jumaane Williams delivered the morning’s keynote address.

“The Annual Educational Leadership breakfast in partnership with HealthFirst is a great opportunity that allows us to celebrate and honor the educators in our community.  The resolutions presented at the ceremony are a small token of our appreciation for the work our educators do on a daily basis to prepare our children for a bright future." - Senator Kevin Parker,” said Senator Parker.
