Ranzenhofer Announces NY Route 93 Bridge Open to Motorists
September 4, 2018
New York State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has announced today that the NY Route 93 (Buell Street) Bridge over Murder Creek in the Village of Akron is now accessible again to residents.
“This important infrastructure project will improve traffic safety for both motorists and pedestrians. I am pleased to report that the new Route 93 Bridge is open to traffic,” said Ranzenhofer.
The $1.5 million project replaced the entire bridge superstructure, including beams, decks, sidewalks and railings. In January 2014, Ranzenhofer advocated for the transportation project in a letter to the New York State Department of Transportation.
