Ranzenhofer Announces Screenings at Family Health Fair

Amherst, NY– Senator Mike Ranzenhofer has announced today a record level of free screenings and services available to residents during Erie County’s Largest Family Health Fair, scheduled for Saturday, August 4th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway in Amherst.
“I am proud to partner with health care providers and organizations across Western New York to help residents get and stay healthy. This year’s Family Health Fair offers more screening options than ever before, and I encourage residents to live a healthy lifestyle by taking advantage of all of these services,” said Ranzenhofer.
More than 90 organizations will provide free health information, services and screenings to residents at Senator Ranzenhofer’s Health Fair. Screenings and services available to attendees include:

• Spinal Screening
• BMI Reading
• Blood Pressure Check
• Bone Density Heel Scan
• Cholesterol Screening
• Foot Screening
• Glucose Test
• Home Safety Assessment
• Hearing Screening
• Medicine/Prescription Review
• Vial of Life Program
• TDAP Vaccination
• Prevnar Pneumonia Vaccination
• Flu Shot (If available)
• Prostate Cancer Screening
• Skin Cancer Screening
• Child ID Fingerprinting
• Depression Screening
• Retina Scan
Senator Ranzenhofer’s 2018 Family Health Fair is co-sponsored by Kaleida Health and the Amherst Center for Senior Services, in conjunction with Assemblyman Ray Walter.

Our goal is to ensure residents have the tools they need to enjoy a healthy life.
