I also enjoyed meeting the teachers and administrators who nominated them for this prestigious award as well as their superintendents who see their terrific work firsthand and their parents who raised such amazing young men and women. When I read these students’ accomplishments and see all they have done and plan to do, I know our future is in good hands with this next generation of exemplary leaders. Our region is home to many outstanding young leaders who are deeply involved in their communities and serve as role models to their peers, and they possess exceptional leadership qualities and the determination to make a difference in the future success of our communities.
