Senator Serino Launches Annual 'Season of Giving Initiative'

This December, Senator Sue Serino will once again be sponsoring her “Season of Giving” initiative aimed at giving community members an opportunity to give back this holiday season. This year, community members can help make the holiday season a little brighter for local veterans in need by donating personal hygiene products or a pair of warm socks. All items collected will be distributed to local veterans by Hudson River Housing – Liberty Station.

“Through our annual ‘Season of Giving’ initiative, I am reminded just how generous and dedicated our community is to helping our neighbors in need,” said Senator Sue Serino. “Our veterans have made tremendous sacrifices for our country, and our community, and this holiday season community members have a chance to do something small that can have a big impact in the life of a local veteran. We hope the community will join us as we work to remind our veterans that they always have an incredibly grateful community behind them.”

Donations will be accepted from now until December 20th and can be dropped off at Senator Serino’s Hyde Park Office, located at 4254 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538. The office is open is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For questions, please call the District Office at 845-229-0106.
