New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators Begin Accepting 2018 Scholarship Applications

Queens, NY – Senator Avella and his colleagues in the New York Conference of Italian-American Legislators have announced that, like in years past, they will award four scholarships—two academic and two athletic—at this year’s Italian-American Day on June 4th.
The four scholarships are worth $3,000 each and are available to residents of NYS that are current college students or high school seniors entering college.
Constituents of Senator Avella are encouraged to submit their applications to the Senator’s office by April 18, 2018. Applications can be obtained by contacting Senator Avella’s District Office at 718-357-3094 or avella@nysenate.gov or 38-50 Bell Boulevard, Bayside, NY.
