June 16, 2018
Senator Bill Larkin (R,C, I-39th District) today presented a check to Town of Blooming Grove Supervisor Rob Jeroloman for $244,000 to purchase a dump truck as well as a specialized vehicle to be used by the Town Police Department and Ambulance Corp.
“Senator Bill Larkin has once again brought much needed funding to the Town of Blooming Grove from Albany,” said Town of Blooming Grove Supervisor Rob Jeroloman. “Without Senator Larkin’s help this capital purchase would have resulted in a potential tax increase for our upcoming budget. The residents of the Town of Blooming Grove are indebted to our Senator and will never forget his commitment and his constant ability to deliver for our community.”
“Working with local municipalities like the Town of Blooming Grove has truly been an honor during my time as State Senator,” said Senator Bill Larkin. “The funding received by the residents of the Town of Blooming Gove is not mine to give. It belongs to this community and I am happy to be returning it. It is especially encouraging to see different town departments sharing equipment and working together to cut costs in their efforts to provide services on behalf of their residents.”
This funding is through the State and Municipal Facilities Program (SAM) and will be administered by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY).
