Memorial Day Message: Home of the free because of the brave

Dear Friend:

This coming Monday marks the official observance of Memorial Day, a special and sacred day. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, respect, and reverence for the fallen, a day for us all to honor the patriotic, heroic American soldiers who died in service to our nation.

There is a saying worth remembering: “We don’t know them all, but we owe them all.” Indeed, we owe everything to the men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our Constitutional Republic and defend our liberty.

What these heroes accomplished and did for us, the American people, the magnitude of their selfless sacrifice, it must never be forgotten. It is our duty, our obligation, our privilege as citizens of the greatest, freest nation in the world to ensure that we always honor their courage, commitment, and sacrifice.

May God bless our fallen, and keep watch over their families and the United States of America.
