Senator Skoufis Secures $15K for Cornwall Public Library
Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) announced that he secured vital funding of $15,000 for the Cornwall Public Library to purchase additional public computers.
“In today’s world, it’s imperative that people have access to technology, and often, libraries are where people go to access it,” said Senator Skoufis. “Not everyone has access to computers or wifi, so our libraries must be equipped to provide them with those resources. By supporting our local libraries, we are uplifting our communities at large and I remain committed as ever in doing so.”
Charlotte A. Dunaief, Director of the Cornwall Public Library said, “We are beyond thankful to Senator Skoufis for securing $15,000 for our library. This will give us the ability to provide our community with better resources including several new public computers and laptops. Our residents and students will immensely benefit from this funding and I look forward to continuing to work closely with the Senator for the betterment of the Cornwall community.”
Skoufis plans to make more funding announcements in the weeks to come.
