Skoufis Opens Tip Line for Senate Investigations Committee
Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) announced that the committee he chairs, Senate Committee on Investigations and Government Operations, has opened up a tip line for the general public.
“Our tip line establishes a direct line of communication between the investigations committee and the public,” said Senator Skoufis. “The point of having this tip line is to ensure we are hearing right from the people of New York in a private way that can provide us insight into improprieties and inefficiencies.”
Tips for the committee should be sent to: investigations@nysenate.gov. Please note that while the committee will carefully consider all requests, it does not have the resources to take on every investigative request.
Senator Skoufis has announced three investigations thus far: practices of big drug company middlemen, code enforcement, and public authority, including IDA, compliance with state law. Skoufis said a number of additional investigations are planned.
