Senator Tedisco presents NYS Senate Citation to Toying Around store owner Vince McCallum for his efforts to promote small businesses in Johnstown

Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Glenville) today visited the Toying Around Block Party on W. Main St. in Johnstown and presented Toying Around collectibles store owner Vince McCallum with a NYS Senate Citation for his efforts to promote local small businesses. 

Tedisco also joined Fulton County Sheriff Richard Giardino to meet residents, Some of whom dressed were up like their favorite comic book or movie character. 

“It was a little bit of Comic-Con in Johnstown with the Toying Around Block Party! From the Marvel Universe to a Galaxy Far, Far Away to the World of Pokemon, genre fans came out to have fun and support our local small businesses! Great job by Toying Around store owner Vince McCallum in organizing this special event for the whole family! As the late iconic Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee would often say, and which is also New York State’s motto: ‘Excelsior’ or ever upward!” said Senator Tedisco.
