To commemorate EMS Week in the state of New York, Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Glenville), Senator Daphne Jordan (R,C,I-Halfmoon) and Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I-Halfmoon) today honored members of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS and presented them with legislative resolutions honoring their service and the service of emergency first responders across the state.
Joining Tedisco, Jordan and Walsh from Clifton Park EMS were paramedics Caitlin Overholt, Patrick Lurenz, Gina Wierzbowski, EMT Tyrone Mitchell, Deputy Director of Operations Patrick Bornt and Executive Director Alan Bell.
"Our emergency medical service professionals are there for us to respond to emergencies and help save lives. My colleagues and I are proud to set this week aside to pay tribute to everything EMS professionals like the Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS do day-in and day-out in our communities to keep people safe," said Senator Tedisco.
