Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Glenville) visited Edinburg Town Hall to announce a $100,000 New York State grant he secured for the town to purchase a wheel loader.
The 2018 John Deere Wheel Loader will benefit residents and taxpayers in Edinburg by helping save money on town construction projects, allowing for enhanced plowing during snow storms, and enabling the town to better respond to emergencies.
“Edinburg is a beautiful town in the 49thSenate District with great local leadership from Supervisor Jean Raymond, the town board, and Highway Superintendent Wayne Seelow. I’m proud to have been able to enhance public safety and return state tax dollars to Edinburg residents by helping secure this wheel loader that the town will be able to use for snow plowing and to respond to emergencies,” said Senator Jim Tedisco.
“I want to thank Senator Tedisco for his leadership and dedication in obtaining this state grant for the Town of Edinburg which will benefit residents and our quality of life,” said Edinburg Town Supervisor Jean Raymond.
