Griffo: Support local farmers and producers by shopping at area farmers markets

With the summer season here, New York State Senate Deputy Minority Leader Joseph Griffo, R-I-C-Rome, is encouraging the public to visit farmers markets in their communities.
“From Massena to Lowville to Utica and everywhere in between, farmers markets are in full swing throughout my district,” Deputy Minority Leader Griffo said. “These markets are a great opportunity for the public to purchase a wide variety of vegetables, meats, cheeses and other goods grown and produced by local farmers and creators from their community and the region."
Here are some of the farmers markets taking place in Deputy Minority Leader Griffo’s district:
