Senate Deputy Leader Gianaris Attends Canaan AME, Community Church of Astoria Summer BBQs

ASTORIA, N.Y. – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris attended summer barbecues for two local Astoria churches – Canaan AME Church and the Community Church of Astoria – on Saturday, August 17.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer weekend than with the people who make western Queens so great,” said Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris. “These congregations are an essential part of the fabric or our community and I thank them for all they do.”
