Senator Pam Helming joined ARC Executive Director Allen Connely, Director of Business Operations Lisa Guernsey and members of the Seneca Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, September 18 to cut the ribbon on the newly expanded Finger Lakes Textiles, an operation of Arc of Seneca Cayuga.  After the ribbon cutting, Senator Helming toured the 5,000 square foot expansion of the textile facility and new state of the art manufacturing machines.

“It was an honor to be a part of the unveiling of the expansion of Finger Lakes Textiles. As someone who started her career working with those with special needs and currently as State Senator and Ranker of the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business, I understand how vital it is to provide meaningful employment for everyone. Finger Lakes Textiles already produces an astounding number of over 1.2 million American made hats per year and this expansion will allow for the making of even more items to help support our military. I look forward to continuing to support the ARC of Seneca Cayuga and Finger Lakes Textiles,” Senator Helming said.
