ALBANY – Senator Pam Helming recently welcomed Ms. Marya Vande-Doyle, of Palmyra, to the State Capitol in Albany and honored her as the 2019 Woman of Distinction from the 54th Senate District. Ms. Vande-Doyle was selected from among 25 local women who were nominated by their family, friends, and co-workers for this prestigious award. All nominees were honored during a ceremony at Ventosa Vineyards in Fayette in April. Ms. Vande-Doyle is the co-founder with her husband, Bill, and President of The Green Angels, a Wayne County-based charitable organization that supports children and families throughout our region.
