Senator Helming Honors Cadets at Canandaigua Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol’s Banquet

CANANDAIGUA - Senator Pam Helming recently attended the annual unit banquet for the Canandaigua Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol. The mission of Civil Air Patrol, a partner of the U.S. Air Force, is to provide cadet programs, aerospace education and services and resources in local and national emergencies. Four cadets were honored with milestone awards at the annual banquet. Cadet Lt Col Edwin C Chesler received the Gen Ira C. Eaker Award, Cadet Capt Gavin W. Davis received the Amelia Earhart Award and Cadet SSgts Colton Gracioso and Lincoln Harrison Wolfe received the Wright Brothers Award.

As the daughter of a U.S. Air Force veteran and the mother-in-law of a current U.S. Army soldier, I have the utmost respect and admiration for our service members and veterans. We are fortunate to have you and it was an honor to share the opportunity to celebrate and recognize your accomplishments,” Senator Helming said.
