
Senator Helming Honors Wayne County Veterans at Wayne Event

Senator Pam Helming recently recognized 24 veterans who live in Wayne County during a veterans recognition ceremony at the Heritage Baptist Church on Monday, November 4. The veterans were nominated by family, friends, and members of the community for the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame, and they were among a total of 76 nominations Senator Helming received for this award across the six counties that she represents.
The veterans honored at this event include Merton Bartels, Gerald W. Bernhardt, Alan C. Davidson, Michael R. DeSain, Arnold Deyo, William O. Everett, William George Fuhrmann II, Dennis R. Hadcock, Ishmael Keeton, Richard Lasher, George P. Lonneville, Joseph H. Mack, David Madison, Edward Maroteiner, Eugene Mason, Larry D. Metcalf, Keith Moore, Terry Oathout, George Perez, Michael C. Platenberg, David Quagliata, Dean W. Sheffield, Kevin Taylor, and Larry Williamson.
