Senator Helming Hosts EPIC Event in Webster
October 3, 2019
Senator Pam Helming recently hosted an Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program outreach presentation at the Senior Center in Webster. The EPIC program helps income-eligible seniors aged 65 and older to supplement their out-of-pocket Medicare Part D drug plan costs. EPIC Specialist, Gabrielle Dotterweich was present to answer questions regarding the program.
“The EPIC Program is such a valuable program, helping more than 327,000 seniors around the state! It is so important that we continue to help our senior citizens, giving them as much access as we can to programs and resources such as this. That is why I recently introduced legislation to modernize the EPIC Program’s application process and why I hosted this informational event. Thank you to Gabrielle for providing helpful information and answers to important questions and thank you to Webster Town Supervisor Ron Nesbitt for hosting this presentation at the Webster Senior Center and helping to make it a success,” Senator Helming said.
