Senator Helming Joins Opening of Hickory Bark Woods Trail
October 9, 2019
Senator Pam Helming recently joined Webster Town Supervisor Ron Nesbitt, Library Executive Director Terry Bennett, Children’s Librarian Jason Poole, Assistant Director Shana Lynott, Friends of the Webster Public Library President Karen Stoddard, Friends of Webster Trails President Shari Gnolek, Mr. Harold Krieger, several Scouts and many other community leaders to open the new Hickory Bark Woods Trail in Webster.
“Webster is truly a Place Where Life is Worth Living! The opening of this new trail shows the great things that happen when people work together to improve their communities. The Hickory Bark Woods Trail will provide new recreation opportunities for local residents and the outdoor classroom space will allow the Webster Public Library to bring in new programs and help local children learn more about our environment. As Senator, I will continue to work with the Town of Webster and Webster Public Library to support projects like this that make our community a better place to live,” said Senator Helming.
